Our Mission
Providing lifelong care, inspiring conservation, and creating second chances for rescued animals.
Our Purpose
At National Tiger Sanctuary, our mission is to provide a safe, compassionate, and permanent home for rescued animals while inspiring a deeper understanding of wildlife conservation through education and meaningful experiences.
Founded on the belief that every animal deserves dignity, respect, and exceptional care, we are committed to enriching the lives of the animals entrusted to us while fostering a connection between people and the natural world.
Through rescue, education, and conservation awareness, we strive to create a future where wildlife is valued, protected, and respected for generations to come.
Why We Exist
National Tiger Sanctuary began with five tiger siblings—Max, Vincent, Paul, Dee, and TJ—who inspired a lifelong commitment to animal welfare, education, and conservation.
Today, that commitment extends beyond big cats to a growing family of rescued animals who depend on us for lifelong care, enrichment, safety, and compassion.
Every visit, every volunteer, every donation, and every shared story helps make this mission possible.
