Meet Raffiel
Raffiel is the son of Leo and Niara and was one of seven lion cubs born at National Tiger Sanctuary. As he matured, he developed a striking appearance that helps him stand out among the sanctuary's lions.
His unique mane is one of the first things visitors notice and makes Raffiel easy to recognize from a distance.
Protective of Family
Raffiel shares a close bond with his sisters, Kiara and Nala, and is known for being very protective of them. He prefers things his way and is not particularly interested in sharing what he considers his own.
Strong-Willed and Confident
Raffiel has a stubborn streak and is never shy about letting staff know how he feels. His confident personality, impressive mane, and strong family connections make him one of the sanctuary's most memorable lions.
