Meet Elvis & Ferdinand
Elvis and Ferdinand arrived at National Tiger Sanctuary when they were around two years old. They were surrendered by their owner with the original intention that they would be used as live food for big cats.
That never happened. Instead, these two boys found a permanent home where they could live safely and enjoy life as cherished members of the sanctuary family.
Always Up to Something
Elvis and Ferdinand have earned a reputation for being both extremely smart and incredibly stubborn. Their curiosity often leads them into harmless mischief, especially when it comes to interacting with the sanctuary's horses.
Staff members know to keep an eye on these two because there is a good chance they are planning their next adventure.
The Most Spoiled Steers in Missouri
According to the sanctuary staff, Elvis and Ferdinand may very well be the most spoiled steers in Missouri. Despite their size, they have big personalities and are loved by everyone who meets them.
