Meet Baby
Baby is a beloved lioness at National Tiger Sanctuary and the sister of Mavuto and Chika. Although she lives in her own neighboring habitat, she remains close to her siblings and can often be found relaxing or interacting with them through the safety of the fence that separates their spaces.
What makes Baby especially remarkable is that she thrives on just three legs. Her resilience and determination shine through every day, proving that a physical challenge does not define who she is.
Fast, Focused, and Full of Confidence
Don't let her missing leg fool you—Baby is incredibly quick and agile. She is known around the sanctuary for her impressive hunting instincts, often catching the occasional critter that wanders into her habitat. Her speed and confidence continue to amaze caregivers and visitors alike.
Part of the Family
Even though Baby has her own space, she stays connected with Mavuto and Chika thanks to their neighboring habitats. They can rest close together and even play through the fence, maintaining the special sibling bond they have shared throughout their lives.
