Meet Trooper

Trooper is our Arctic fox! He found his forever home at National Tiger Sanctuary nearly ten years ago and has become one of the sanctuary's most beloved residents.

He is an inquisitive boy who loves exploring his surroundings and is incredibly friendly with both staff and many of the other animals that call the sanctuary home.

A Collector of Duckies

One of Trooper's favorite things is his collection of rubber duckies. Over the years he has gathered quite an assortment that could rival almost any collector.

His playful personality and endless curiosity make him a favorite with visitors of all ages.

Changing with the Seasons

During the winter months, Trooper grows his beautiful bright white coat, perfectly suited for cold northern climates. As summer arrives, he sheds that thick winter coat, revealing a sleek gray coat until the weather turns cold once again.
