Meet Niara

Niara is a lioness who shares her habitat with Etana. While Etana is known for her strong personality, Niara is often described as the more mild-mannered of the pair.

She is the proud mother of Raffiel, Afton, Kiara, and Nala, making her an important part of a large lion family at the sanctuary.

Playful and Mischievous

Niara enjoys staying active and is often seen playing and interacting with the other animals around her. Staff frequently observe her chasing after Etana, and she has even been known to play with Truman and Lily.

A Distinctive Lioness

One of Niara's most recognizable features is her deep orange eyes and her darker brown coat. Her playful personality, strong family connections, and gentle nature make her a favorite among visitors and staff alike.
