About NTS

Mission:
We are a community of teachers and learners who seek to empower those who join us to make life- sustaining changes that will define the destiny of our planet. We do this through creating a safe and protected environment in which young and old can enjoy the delight of discovery. The National Tiger Sanctuary seeks to be that place where we can connect to that tapestry of life so we can find our proper place among the beauty that is the diversity of creation.

G.R.E.E.N. (Global Resources for Environmental Education and Nature) was founded in 2000. This non-profit 501(c)3 foundation is dedicated to pioneering new venues of education beyond the traditional.

NTS (National Tiger Sanctuary), a part of G.R.E.E.N., adopted the five sibling tiger cubs in July 2001. The tigers, serve as ambassadors for the environmental education programs developed in partnership with DePaul University. The original campus with DePaul was located on B Highway in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. After a change in administration at DePaul, the property was sold to a local winery. NTS is in no way affiliated with the winery.

In February 2006, the campus was relocated to their present location at 10019 State Route Y in Bloomsdale, MO.
